Honestly everything went generally well. The wait was a bit tough and you can tell that all the servers were busy and trying to cram everyone in. We didn't mind moving from our table to another to help a larger group sit, but I think the host got confused thinking they had left when they were waiting. Food was satisfying and made me happy! And the ambiance is definitely busy and pub-like.

1. Food: ordered the signature mineshaft burger and it was 4/5. Cooked just how l wanted, medium rare. The patty was juicy and flavorful. The bun was nice and buttery. Patty was slightly on the saltier side, which is the reason for 4/5. But overall really good. 2. Service: Everyone was very nice and friendly, but they are quite slow. Only checked in twice. They were busy, as it was a holiday. 3. Ambiance: 5/5. Very cute unique place. Looks like a dive bar, but has a lot of outdoor seating and parking. Definitely worth taking pictures. It's a bit small inside, so you're sitting very close to others.

A group of 7 of us went on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm and we waited about 15-20 min to be seated inside. There were plenty of seating outdoors but they have a limited menu. Our server was Koko and she was efficient and kind. Asked us if we needed anything often despite being busy. Our food came in a timely manner and everything was tasty! Portions were big with plenty of leftovers. I got their 1/2 pound cheeseburger and signature salad, added onion rings and sweet potato fries as a side (extra cost) with a soda and it cost about $40 including tip. I heard they're changing their menu this week. Great ambience inside and out. Live music too outside! Tons of parking! Bathroom was a line for the women's. Only 1 toilet and is labeled as all gender and 1 toilet and urinal for men with no lock to their door.

Lively restaurant near Joshua Tree National Park! There are actually 2 parts to this restaurant: the actual restaurant with inside seating and a full menu and a bar with outside seating with limited food options. We parked in the lot and walked into the bar area but realized there was another section so that's where we dined. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed! Note: they don't do take out so you have to dine in (small kitchen). We came around 7pm and there were about 10 parties ahead of us so we waited about an hour to get seated. The food was great! Tried the patty melt (what they're known for) and that didn't disappoint. The romaine salad was great too, had to have some greens with our dinner. Highly recommend getting the tortilla chips; the server brought us fries by accident but quickly brought the chips- 10/10!! Would recommend this spot if you're in the area.

I went to Joshua Tree for the first time in my life, and I think it is a fair assumption that I had to stop at this joint to experience the standard drop-in spot of the region. Before I went, I thought this place would be a lively spot. I imagined it as a saloon of days past--like a modern-day party with a saloon theme in the background. But my imagination ran away with me. It is also partly the fault of ChatGPT; it amped me up to believe this prediction and convinced me that the saloon had a lively party atmosphere. I drove longer to get there, as my hotel was 15 minutes away from Joshua Tree. When I arrived, I parked on a dirt road. The parking lot was more of a dirt road situation. I had to follow arrows to find the door, and it was a bit tricky--not exactly easy. I thought I had arrived multiple times, only to discover another arrow. It was not a trek but more of a "walk for a fool" to keep me busy for three minutes. The place was decorated to resemble an old-timey saloon. It was great, but I do not remember all that I saw, meaning the motif was entertaining in the moment but did not leave me with a lasting impression. Now, ask me about the Mona Lisa--that left me with a lasting impression. Okay, the comparison is not fair, but it is meant to highlight what I saw: beautiful old-timey stuff that also resembled swamp-house decor. None of it was particularly memorable. If I try to recall, I am guessing but also vaguely seeing wagons, boots, and neon signs. This place is worth a visit because it is a standard "must," like going to Disney when one comes to California, but the knick-knacks are shelved in the back of my mind, not fully accessible. The food, however, was solid. I ate a bacon hamburger. I was expecting little, but the bites delivered the most: a nice, thick patty, crispy bacon, and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. I felt like a cowboy eating supper next to an open fire, drinking coffee from a blue-jean-colored mug. I finished my burger and enjoyed myself. I dined at the counter, which allowed me to talk to the staff members, who were locals. I had the opportunity to ask them questions about life in a small town like Joshua Tree. One commented that it worked for him because he liked four-wheeling. Another explained that he was from Yucca Valley. Another shared some thoughts better left unwritten, but let us just say he preferred a more traditional framework to life. They did, however, give me recommendations that I used to great success. Like I say, stop here because it is a must--this place is a main beat of the Joshua Tree experience for a tourist who does not camp or glamp.

This saloon is happening! We had so much fun. Brought some Canadians to Joshua Tree and stopped in for food and drinks. Trust me, you won't regret it! Just winding your way into their entrance is incredibly entertaining and fun. Truly take the time to appreciate their intentional placement of humorous or local vibe decor. I repeat this place is fun! Tons of local color, personality for days, outstanding service from hostess to server (Nick is EPIC!) and delicious food. Wish I was local. Everything we ordered was plentiful and mouth watering; drinks from bar also top notch. The place was packed on a Tuesday dinner hour but this wasn't their first rodeo and a thirty minute wait turned into ten. Honestly, if needed, wait the thirty - Worth it! Still thinking about that perfect patty melt and onion rings with delicious Sauvignon Blanc. Yum!

The food was way better than expected! We arrived and expected a wait because the place was BUSY! But we were immediately seated, our drink order was taken and delivered fast. The food order was the same they were quick and we had a little time to chitchat amongst our group of 7 and before we knew it the food was coming out. I ordered something simple, a turkey and bacon sandwich. First off; DAMN! The bread was a cheddar and jalapeño toast! The flavor was subtle but at the same time, wow! The sauce was amazing the turkey moist and bacon crisp! Everyone was quite as the ate and everyone said their meal was top notch. I paid the tab, we had 7 people in our party and 6 ordered drinks from the bar in addition to a soda or whatever else. It came to $226 for alcohol and meals for 7. Everyone of us left impressed!

This place was a vibe here for sure. It was really loud we found a table outside in the sections in between the music and the restaurant but we noticed something was dripped on us from the roof. So we moved into the main outside area. The service is you place your order at the bar and they bring it out to you the food took a decent amount of time but the place was pretty busy. I got the pulled pork and it was great. If you are looking for a chill vibe with music this is your spot. If you are looking for quiet I would pick somewhere else.

We stopped here after visiting the park and were very happy with the burgers we had! They indoor menu is their main menu with several burger options and lots more. The saloon also has a big bar counter and pool table and space for larger groups. It can get busy so if you can make a reservation, do! There is also an outdoor patio with live music and a smaller menu more on the appetizer side. All servers were very nice and service pretty quick considering the place was packed!

It was a brutally hot summer day when I wandered into Joshua Tree Saloon with a local friend. How hot, you ask? Well, after only six minutes shirtless outside, I managed to get sunburned--talk about desert heat! So, stepping into this air-conditioned oasis in a desert town I'd never been to before felt like discovering an icy coke in the Sahara. I was ready to set up camp at the bar and not leave for a week. If you're looking for ambiance and character, you've found it here. Imagine the movie 'WaterWorld' with Kevin Costner, but on land, and instead of imprisoning mutants, they serve food and drinks. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, this gastropub is as quirky as it is inviting. The inside bar has that cozy, lived-in feel of small-town New England pubs, which just so happen to be my favorite places to hang out. They've got about 15 beers on tap--exactly what you'd expect from any self-respecting saloon. The menu offers a mix of comfort food and reasonably healthy options, which made choosing a challenge. We settled on the BBQ chicken sandwich and the Signature salad, which is like a chef's salad meeting a Mexican fiesta. Both were delicious and matched the laid-back vibe perfectly. I'll be in the area a few more times this year, so I'm definitely coming back to try their impressive burger selection, including a vegan option that's calling my name. Thumbs up!
